De’Aaron Fox has been incredible in his first two career playoff games, averaging 31 points. They have also resulted in two victories for the Sacramento Kings, and the team shows no signs of slowing down in their first playoff appearance in 16 years.

Going up against the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors, Fox, and the Sacramento Kings have shown ultimate confidence. And in Monday night’s Game 2 win, De’Aaron showed it by hilariously mocking Jordan Poole after he flopped on a play.

De’Aaron Fox was guarding Jordan Poole in the 2nd quarter when Poole drove in to try and get to the basket. Fox was called for a foul as Poole tried to get past him on the baseline but couldn’t stay in bounds. He fell a bit theatrically, flailing as he fell to the court, and Fox responded by hilariously mocking it.

The refereeing during the game aggravated some Golden State Warriors fans, but the team got quite a few calls their way. Despite De’Aaron Fox’s apparent unhappiness with the call, he was still charged with the foul. Ultimately though, the Kings won the game, meaning Fox and his teammates can look back at this exchange and laugh.

The Golden State Warriors Have Their Backs Against The Wall

All season long, the Golden State Warriors have been unable to win consistently away from home. And that has been an issue to start this series as well, with the Warriors losing the first two games in Sacramento. This is the first time in Stephen Curry’s career that he has been down 0-2 to start a series in the playoffs

The team needs to rally and do so quickly. Draymond Green could be suspended depending on how harshly the NBA reacts to him stepping on Domantas Sabonis, but hopefully, the team will be full strength going into Game 3. They have to figure out a way to contain De’Aaron Fox, who had 38 points in Game 1 and then took over in the 4th quarter again to close out Game 2.

The Sacramento Kings will put themselves in an incredible position if they can win even one of the following two games in Golden State. This will be easier said than done, the champions won’t go down easily. But if Fox and company carry their confidence and execution into Game 3, the Warriors could be in serious trouble.
