Drake stunned the internet when he shared the cover art for his new single, ‘Search & Rescue’ on Instagram. The art featured an image of him and a mysterious woman in a motorcycle helmet, who has been heavily speculated to be Kim Kardashian.

The ‘God’s Plan’ star didn’t reveal the identity of the woman, but the post had comments with fans thinking it was Kim, and they had their reasons.

Apart from the fact that she did look a lot like Kim, the song also infamously samples her. Drake previewed the song during the latest episode of The Fry Yiy Show on his SiriusXM Radio station Sound 42. The tease also included audio from the Keeping Up with the Kardashians series finale on E! where Kim discussed her marital issues with Kris Jenner.

Speculations are also rife that the longtime Toronto Raptors‘ global ambassador was trying to take a dig at Kanye and restart their long-standing beef. Using the latter’s ex-wife was perhaps looked at as the better way of getting one past the rapper.

The Toronto Raptors Are Still Gunning For A Playoff Spot This Season

In related news, Drake’s favorite team is still in the hunt for a playoff berth this season. At the time of writing, the team is placed ninth in the Eastern Conference with a 40-40 record.

The team is coming off a 97-93 loss to the Boston Celtics and has two games left in the regular season to make a last-ditch effort. One more win will see them tie with the Atlanta Hawks with 41 wins, but for them to take the spot, the Raptors must hope that Atlanta must lose another game.

A win against the Celtics in their upcoming game will also put the Raptors at a better distance than the Chicago Bulls, who will hope to win their last two games to hit the 40-win mark. Safe to say, it will be a double celebration for Drake if his team makes the playoffs.

‘Search & Rescue’ releases on streaming platforms on Friday.
