Being on social media is a tiring task for athletes. It feels good when they get appreciated for their amazing performances, but when they fail to play well, they are absolutely destroyed by fans.
Each player in the NBA has a different way of handling these fans on social media. While some prefer to simply ignore those comments and carry on with their lives, there are many who make sure to give a befitting reply to these fans.
The likes of Draymond Green and Kevin Durant unquestionably fall into the second category. They are players who don’t care about the nonsense of any fans or analysts for that matter. If they believe they are right, they will talk openly about it.
KD proved that recently when he called out Charles Barkley on Twitter. The beef started when Chuck called Durant a bus rider rather than a bus rider of the two Golden State Warriors championship teams that he was part of.
Coming back to the topic, KD was recently invited by the host of the PMT podcast on Twitter. KD responded by saying that he already has his own podcast. Following that, a fan decided to call out Durant’s take. This ultimately brings us to Dray defending his former teammate.

Kevin Durant: I have my own podcast #newmedia lol
Adam Reckamp: The idea of #newmedia is so dumb. Current athletes have no idea what’s interesting about themselves, their own platforms are usually beyond boring for anyone that doesn’t want to be propagandized to.
Draymond Green: You are pretty dumb sir
Although Green and KD are no longer teammates, they are certainly friends. So it was pretty great to see Green defending his friend against a pretty bad take by the fan.
Now, whether KD joins the PMT podcast is completely up to him. But fans would definitely love to see him come on the popular podcast and talk. After all, fans can never get enough of their favorite players sharing amazing stories on podcasts.
