Draymond Green just won his 4th NBA title yesterday. With the Golden State Warriors defeating the Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6, the Dubs won their 4th title in the last 7 years.

One thing has been common in all the title runs, the iconic trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. While Curry has been the offensive powerhouse and Klay has been a two-way force, Green has been a defensive rock on whom the Dubs have relied over the years.

With his ability to defend all the positions, the 32-year-old is the one who often guards the best players. While he successfully pesters many of his opponents, it comes at a cost. For Draymond, it is fines. Green and NBA fines aren't strangers to each other.

The 4-time All-Star has often been one of the most notorious players on the court because of his antics and even calls out referees and their calls off the court. This playoff season was no different.

Be it the instance where he flipped Grizzlies fans and got fined $25,000 where he had some interesting choice of words or else, it is not surprising to see him on a list of one of the most fined players in the NBA.

In a recent report, it was revealed that Green is now only just $5,876 away from paying a total of $1 million in fines to the league. This is certainly one of the most absurd stats of this season and shows how Dray hasn't been the league's best of books.

Draymond even had a hilarious response to the same.

This is unfortunate!! I thought I was already there.

Given how Draymond has never been bothered by these fines, we don't see any reason why this number does not reach the $1 million mark within the first week of next season.

While he has racked up fines in his career, his repertoire as a star has solidified as he is easily one of the most versatile defenders in the league. If the Warriors want to repeat next season, Draymond will be essential.
