The Warriors are no strangers to winning at the highest level. In fact, over the past 8 years, the Dubs have captured 4 titles.

But according to star forward Draymond Green, the festivities and celebrations this year were the best they have ever been.

Here’s what he said in the latest episode of his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show:”

Warriors fans know more than anyone how tough it is to construct a dynasty. For decades, the franchise lived in obscurity, as teams like the Lakers and Bulls enjoyed unprecedented prosperity.

But through the draft and some fortunate events, the Warriors were able to find All-Star talent in the form of Curry, Thompson, and Green. They won three championships from 2015-2018 before their fall in 2019.

But as one chapter closed, another one began for Golden State, and they soon found themselves hoarding talented youngsters like Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, Andrew Wiggins, and James Wiseman.

In truth, the best May he yet to come for the Warriors, and it’s hard not to be impressed by this stretch of success for the team.

“Congrats to the Golden State Warriors,” said 2x MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. “It’s been an unbelievable dynasty for them, for those three guys from where they started to where they are right now. It’s been an unbelievable journey. For every team, for every player, you want to accomplish the same things like this. They’re setting the example for us.”

In regards to the parade itself, both the fans and the players seem especially appreciative of this championship — and they have been celebrating like it.

Lots of drinks, cheers, and applause have flooded San Francisco this week, and it’s likely to keep going all summer long.
