Jalen Green recently went viral after revealing his 1-year-old daughter Lyght Green’s face to the world just before Father’s Day. However, just days after this adorable reveal, he got hilariously tricked by the mother of his child, his girlfriend Draya Michele, into taking her shopping in a video that went viral across social media.

“Okay so, I can do magic. I will show you now a trick, but if I get the magic trick and it amazes you and I pull it off seamlessly, then we can go to Sephora,” says Michele in the beginning of the video. “Yeah? That’s it. That’s all I want, I want to just go to Sephora, I want to go to Sephora to get whatever I want.”

Michele goes ahead and puts a towel on a glass of water, completely covering it on all sides.

“I’m gonna prove to you that I can drink this glass of water without touching the towel,” proclaimed Michele hilariously in the video, setting up Green to take the fall in a hilarious trick.

“You’re going to drink the water without touching the towel? How are you going to pick it up?” said a confused Jalen Green.

What transpires after is a hilarious sequence of noises that Michele makes to convince Green she is pulling off some magic to do the trick. Little did he know, she was setting him up for a childish but hilarious prank that would eventually earn her a trip to Sephora.

When she claims that the trick is complete, she convinces Green to check after he doesn’t believe she has completed it. As soon as he picks up the towel to check, she snaps the glass out within a split second, and chugs the entire glass (neatly without touching the towel, mind you) as Green stares in disbelief, realizing what has happened to him.

The couple then hilariously ends the video after Michele gets up to prepare for their trip to Sephora. This could have been a blessing in disguise for Green, who himself is famous for using nail polish, even during NBA games. This is not a shot at Green, but he may have used this trip to Sephora to buy himself some new vibrant colors.

Nonetheless, while fans on the internet may not have taken this video the right way and took shots at Michele over not dating someone her age, we understand that it is normal for couples to pull such harmless pranks on their partners, irrespective of their age. The Rockets’ star recently signed a $106 million extension with the team, and she was raving over it

While Michele (40) is 17 years older than Green (23), they now have a child together, a one-year-old baby daughter, Lyght Green. They made their relationship public after she announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day in 2024. Such harmless pranks may end up strengthening the bond between the couple.
