Larsa Pippen set social media on fire in December when she was spotted at a mall with Minnesota Timberwolves’ Malik Beasley. Their alleged affair quickly became a big story and their families had a lot of things to say about the situation.

A couple of months later, Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife has broken the silence and revealed the details behind her relationship with the player, explaining that she didn’t get in the middle of marriage since Beasley and his wife, Montana Yao, already had trouble before he started dating the 46-year-old.

“We had spoken about it. It wasn’t a secret. I know a lot of people that are married and exiting,” Pippen said on Saturday, via PEOPLE.

“I’ve played that part. So for me, if you’re not being shady and you’re telling me all your stuff, I’m going to believe you.”

She went on to explain that Beasley didn’t make the decision to file for divorce with Yao until he was 100% sure he wanted to be with Larsa. He did it in December after their relationship became public and Larsa was fine with that.

“A lot of people are not happy in their situations and they don’t want to jump ship until they see someone they like. You don’t want to just shake your kids up because you might never meet someone that you actually like. You’re in a state of living in the same place, but not really together,” the woman said.

As stated before, this situation earned a lot of scrutiny from NBA fans and more, with people blasting her for doing bad things for his son, for dating a man 22 years younger than her, and more. Larsa was ready to defend her relationship with the player and she’s stayed the same.
