Ex-Clippers Announcer Takes A Shot At Charles Barkley: “Fact Is, Clippers Have Won Exactly The Same Number Of NBA Titles As Chas.”

2 Min Read

Charles Barkley made a lot of people laugh with his comments on the Los Angeles Clippers and how they have been a bad team during their entire existence. However, not everybody took those comments too kindly and Chuck has apparently made some enemies around the league.

Last week, the 1993 NBA MVP talked about the Californian team, describing all the changes he went through during his life while the Clippers never changed: they have always sucked.

“I’ve been poor, I’ve been rich, I’ve been fat, I’ve been in the Hall of Fame, and one thing I can always tell you: the Clippers have always sucked.”

As stated above, these comments made plenty of fans laugh hard but other people, especially those who like the Clippers, didn’t like Chuck’s remarks. One of those is ex-Clippers announcer Ralph Lawler, who took to Twitter to show his unhappiness with the diss towards his team.

Lawler said that Charles won’t be getting Christmas cards from him anymore before reminding him that he has the same number of ‘chips as the Clips.

When you make those comments, you should be ready for the backlash. Barkley does not hide after he says what he says and this won’t be the first time he does it. A lot of fans must be waiting to see if he decides to respond to Lawler.
