The Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers are embroiled in battle in Game 4 of their Western Conference Finals matchup, with the Lakers facing 4-0 elimination.

Controversial refereeing calls dominated the end of the second quarter, as Jamal Murray was called on a weak foul on LeBron James. That led to Michael Malone defending his player and yelling at the referees, which resulted in him getting a technical foul and then cursing at the refs.

“Man f**k that. That’s trash! Call that f**king foul down here!” *Gets a technical foul* “F**k you! F**k outta here man!”

Malone is one of the most aggressive coaches in the NBA, which leads to him being extremely entertaining. He’s been tearing into the media after recent wins and today, regardless of the result, he definitely will be mad at the officials.

The Nuggets Hoping To Advance To Their First NBA Finals

Denver has never been able to claim an NBA Finals appearance in their franchise history, but this season is likely going to be it. Nikola Jokic has proven his mettle as a playoff performer and will hope to bring the Larry O’Brien trophy to a franchise set in a prominent football town instead of basketball.

At the end of the third quarter in Game 4, the Lakers and Nuggets can barely be separated. Denver overturned a 15-point Lakers halftime lead to take a 4-point lead with one minute left in the quarter. LeBron James has 35 points, but the rest of the Lakers haven’t been able to give him the offensive assistance he needs. He also got into an altercation with Aaron Gordon in the game.
