The Los Angeles Lakers have not been themselves these past few years. After their title win in 2010, they were unable to build another contender, eventually sinking to the bunker of the Western Conference.
But with the arrival of LeBron James came renewed hope and the Lakers went from bottom-feeders to contenders almost overnight. Following their 4-1 series win against the Blazers, their first in almost a decade, social media was buzzing with reactions.

While the Lakers were favored to win the series, much hype was raised about the Blazers. With Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, and Carmelo Anthony, they had a lot of talent and offensive fore-power.
But, in the end, they were unable to get past the strength and might of LeBron and Anthony Davis.
Looking ahead, the Lakers still have plenty of wor to do. The Rockets or Thunder will be facing them in the next round, and neither should be taken lightly. It will be interesting to see how far this run goes.
