The ongoing LeBron/MJ debate got some new life on Sunday when the two basketball icons were captured hugging it out during All-Star weekend.

Despite both players demonstrating a mutual level of admiration and respect for each other, fans couldn’t help but revive some talks about which player is the Greatest of All-Time.

For one Twitter user, they found themselves at the center of backlash for daring to claim James as the NBA’s GOAT.

While LeBron has plenty of loyal supporters, the comments were swarmed with fans ready to defend Jordan’s honor — even though it meant disqualifying themselves from the “Gabb Goudy” dating pool.

There will never be a true consensus on the GOAT, but it’s clear that folks feel strongly about their opinion on the matter.

Jordan, a 6x Champion, 5x MVP, and 14x All-Star, may be the most polarizing player ever. He became the face of basketball and was among the most famous people on the planet during his prime.

LeBron James has reached a similar level of fame today. For the past two decades, he has completely dominated the league, constantly adapting his game to stay on top of the competition.

No other basketball players are compared more to each other than these two, and it’s clear to see why. Between their unprecedented skillset and wide-reaching fame, it’s hard to place any other player above them.

During the NBA’s All-Star game on Sunday, they met publicly for the first time in a while, it really sparked something in the fans.

As for “Gabb Goudy,” she has chosen her side. It will be up to her followers to decide if they want to join it or not.
