The NBA offseason is seeing a host of changes in the league, with multiple teams signing free agents or pulling off some trades. While teams are busy changing their rosters, players out there either are putting in the work in the gym or can be seen on vacations.

Among the players who really do not have much time to enjoy in the offseason are European superstars. With FIBA’s 2022 EuroBasket starting on September 1st, the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic are set to take part in the prestigious international tournament.

With less than a month remaining in the competition, national teams are also finalizing their respective teams ahead of the tournament. While Doncic, Giannis, and Jokic will be the first names in their respective nations, the same does not apply to others.

Recently, the Greek national team announced their squad for EuroBasket. While Giannis was a no-brainer, all the other Antetokounmpo brothers in Kostas, Alex, and Thanasis Antetokounmpo have made it to the Greek national side as well. The 2-time MVP was certainly elated seeing his brothers alongside him for the upcoming tournament.

Giannis recently tweeted a picture of the four Antetokounmpo brothers with the caption,

Blessed to be able to do this together’

Multiple NBA fans reacted to the Antetokounmpo brothers posing together for the Greek national team.

Camera man must’ve said “smile if you have an NBA championship ring.” https://t.co/UYLXLqPp7o

It will be interesting to see how the four Antetokounmpo brothers complement each other on the court. While all of them are physically gifted athletes, they also play in similar positions to each other.

Given the immense amount of experience the four have, Greece will surely be a dark horse contender for the upcoming EuroBasket tournament. Luka Doncic’s Slovenia won’t be far, though. We have already seen what a talent like Doncic can do on the big stage.

The EuroBasket will definitely be a tournament to look out for basketball fans. Not only will we be able to see some different brands of basketball, but we will also see some of the biggest European superstars ball out in the tournament. Can Greece be victorious in the tournament?
