Isiah Thomas Was In Tears After Dropping 81 Points In Pro-Am Game

1 Min Read

Isaiah Thomas recently went full Kobe Bryant, dropping 81 points in a pro-am event. The former NBA star showcased his talents again, going off against amateurs and lower-tier professionals.

IT finished the night with 81 points, earning a lot of praise on social media for such a big display. It was a very emotional one for Thomas, who broke down after everything was said and done.

The player tried to get another chance in the league. Even though he joined the New Orleans Pelicans for a brief period last season, nobody else picked him up once his tenure at the Smoothie King Center was over.

In a video showing his reaction, Thomas started crying, covering his face with a towel while yelling, ‘they gave up on me,’ referring to NBA teams.

Thomas has tried to return to the league, and this performance might help his cause this offseason. The point guard has come a long way, going from MVP finalist to not even having a spot in the league.

He still has something left in the tank. Hopefully, a franchise notices his performances and offers him a new deal to come back to the competition.
