Coming into the 2023 playoffs, the odds couldn’t be stacked more against the Miami Heat, but they found a way to beat the odds and shock the basketball world with one of the most impressive runs we’ve seen in a long time.

Obviously, you have to credit guys like Caleb Martin, Gabe Vincent, and Bam Adebayo for Miami’s unexpected success but the team starts and ends with Jimmy Butler, who is undoubtedly their leader and all-around best player. Jimmy has risen his play to a ridiculous level in the playoffs this year, and NBA analyst Jay Williams wants the world to recognize how special this moment has been for him.

A lot of factors will play into the battles to come, but Jimmy Butler’s presence gives the Heat a puncher’s chance to beat anyone.

Is Jimmy Butler A Top 5 Player In The Game?

Playoff Jimmy is not a new phenomenon, but this year is perhaps the most extreme version of it we’ve seen. In the first three rounds, while far from perfect, he did enough in the important moments to come out on top, and the world will be watching to see how he fares against the 2x MVP.

But if there’s one thing we’ve learned about the NBA hierarchy this season, it’s that the East runs through Miami, and Jimmy Butler is going to do everything he can to keep it that way. He’s one of the best in the world right now, and there are no limits to what he can do…
