Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets are ready to challenge the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. The No. 1 seed in the West got rid of the championship favorites Phoenix Suns in the second round and now are close to making it to the Finals.

In the process, Jokic was on a tear, dominating both the Minnesota Timberwolves and Suns to land in this round. The Joker has earned a lot of praise thanks to his performances and Jalen Rose recently claimed that the big man has become a superstar after this playoff run.

“The Joker has graduated to superstar status,” Rose said.

“The two MVPs he has are not a fluke. He’s the most unstoppable offensive force in the game because he can get you 30 points with efficiency, gonna get you double-digit rebounds and control the game as a point center.”

Rose made it clear that the Lakers will have a hard time trying to beat the Nuggets, as they are inspired and playing at a great level. With Jokic and Jamal Murray playing at the top of their talents, things can get a lot better for Denver.

“The Denver Nuggets are deep, they’re gonna have homecourt advantage. It’s an advantage playing with their home altitude. It’s gonna be tough for any team to beat these Denver Nuggets.”

The last time the Nuggets played in the Western Conference Finals, they faced the Lakers and lost in five games in the bubble. History favors the Purple and Gold but Jokic is on a mission to win this season.

Nikola Jokic Has Taken His Game To The Next Level This Season

After winning back-to-back MVPs, the Joker received a lot of criticism for his lack of success in the postseason. He’s taken things personally and has led the team to the WCF. The Serbian player is doing the job, playing at the best level, doing everything in his power to beat his rivals.

The Lakers won’t be an easy matchup and the center will be ready for whatever they throw at him. Things can be very interesting in this series, as both squads try to make it to the biggest series of all.
