• James Harden gave emotional advice to his fans worldwide

• The 76ers’ guard encouraged people to continue pushing through every day

• The positive message indicates Harden’s mindset as he deals with yet another trade saga

Philadelphia 76ers’ guard James Harden is currently in a battle with GM Daryl Morey to get a trade for the franchise. Despite the challenges in front of him, Harden continues moving on with his life. He shared that same message with his fans while giving an interview in China.

“Keep pushing every single day. For whatever profession you’re trying to be the best at. You’re gonna go through some days where you feel like you don’t feel like doing it anymore. Those days make you tough and it makes the top of the mountain much better.”

No matter how you feel about Harden, this is a message of positivity that every one of us can imbibe. We can joke about the situation he’s in right now, but he never got to the position of being an MVP and a player squabbling for millions of dollars if there wasn’t an elite mindset that made him put in years of work.

Will James Harden Get His Desired Trade?

Harden averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists last season. Despite not making an All-Star or All-NBA team, Harden went into the playoffs as a highly-regarded point guard. Even after a couple of 40-point games, Harden disappeared as the 76ers were eliminated in the second round yet again.

With a promised max contract vanishing out of thin air, Harden is justified in wanting a trade. However, the market reality says that no team is jumping at the chance of acquiring the 33-year-old. The minimal value means the 76ers are better off getting Harden back for another season instead of trading him for scrap.

Unfortunately for Philly, Harden knows how to force the trade he desires. But if the market doesn’t bite, we may be in a long and drawn-out stalemate.
