Jimmy Butler Says He’d Pick Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry And Karl-Anthony Towns Over Him This Season

Jimmy Butler is once again showing how humble he is or how he gets motivated for a new NBA season. The Miami Heat veteran swingman comes from having the greatest season of his career in South Beach and he’s ready to pick things right where he left them with the Heat.

Butler, as usual, defended his team, claiming that it wasn’t hard to realize that everybody is thinking that the Heat’s trip to the Finals was just a fluke and nothing else. Talking with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, Butler stated that he knows players are returning from injuries that he’d pick over themselves.

“I don’t have to look at any media outlet to know that we got some really good players that are much better than I am coming back,” Butler said. “KD, Kyrie, Steph, KAT, a lot of guys that was out are coming back so I’d pick those guys over me too.”

Trying to improve what they did last season doesn’t seem to be enough for Jimmy. He wants to return to the Finals and win the championship this time, but Butler is adding more fuel to his motivation with these names returning to the league. Jimmy is focused on his team right now. The Heat made some interesting moves in the offseason and they look ready to compete in an even harder Eastern Conference.

Well, Butler is doing the right things and he’s ready to repeat or surpass the same thing that the Heat did last year.
