Joakim Noah: “There’s No Prima Donnas On The Clippers, That’s For Sure.”

2 Min Read

Joakim Noah can’t be happier about his new team, the Los Angeles Clippers, even less knowing that he gets to face LeBron James once again on his way to his first Finals appearance. Noah and James have been long-time rivals and that is set to continue at the Orlando bubble. For instance, the Clips will see their city neighbors during their first game back in exactly one week.

The French player hasn’t missed his chance to send a message to the Lakers and LeBron, taking advantage of his first post-game interview with the Clips. After their 99-90 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, Noah took a jab at LeBron James and his Purple and Gold.

“No prima donnas on the Clippers, that’s for sure,” Noah said of his new team, per The Athletic’s Jovan Buha.

During his Chicago Bulls days, Noah’s rivalry with LeBron took another dimension, with the French big man even calling the Big 3 Miami Heat ‘Hollywood as hell.’ Now he’s making it clear that the Clippers are the opposite of that.

He finished Wednesday’s game with four points and five rebounds in 15 minutes for the Clips. The battle of Los Angeles is set to continue at the bubble and Noah is fueling the rivalry with his comments. These two teams are the favorites to win the West this year and any strategy can help them break their rivals.
