The Golden State Warriors dynasty has been built around a core of three players, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Kevin Durant played a massive part in it, but these three players have been the foundation of all the success the organization has enjoyed. And alongside a renewed supporting cast, they again find themselves two wins away from another NBA championship.

The Boston Celtics have proven to be a formidable opponent for the Warriors, but they managed to tie the series up by grabbing a win in Boston in Game 4 behind a historic performance by Curry. Even though Thompson and Green both struggled, Curry effectively carried the team, scoring 43 points, including the shot that effectively ended the game in the 4th quarter.

And while the entire NBA community at large was in awe of what Steph was able to do with seemingly no help in Boston, Thompson himself reserved some high praise for his fellow Splash Brother.

“I’m mesmerized just like the rest of the crowd was… it looks effortless.”

One of the most spectacular abilities Curry possesses is that he can make incredible efforts appear normal. Steph took 26 shots, including 14 three-pointers, making 14 in total and half his threes. He played an impeccable game on the offensive end and the hustle was also present as ever, considering that he grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with this, something that was a problem area for Golden State.

While Curry’s quality is in no doubt, the rest of the Warriors, especially Klay, need to step up and help him out if they want to bring Golden State its 4th championship in 8 seasons. With Game 5 at home and Game 6 potentially being a clincher, it might just be time for Game 6 Klay to make an appearance for both remaining games.
