The NBA Finals are a huge spectacle that draws in viewers from across the globe every season. Millions tune in to watch the best battle it out for the championship at the end of a long and grueling season. As such, several fans that go to the game try to do something so they can get noticed by the aforementioned crowd on television.
One of those people is a YouTuber named BigDaws, whose big claim to fame seems to be that he looks like Klay Thompson. Ahead of game 5 at Chase Center, he used that to his advantage as he simply breezed past security and was on the court for 10 minutes shooting the ball before they eventually realized that he was not a part of the team.
While the entire situation may be quite funny to think about, it resulted in a very serious lifetime ban for Daws from the arena. And as such, many wondered if it was worth it for him to pull the stunt he did if it meant that he would be banned forever and lose the large sum he paid for tickets to the game. Well, the man himself answered that question.
Was it worth it to lose 10K on tickets and be banned for life? Absolutely. I was an NBA player for 10 minutes bro 😂😂

“Was it worth it to lose 10K on tickets and be banned for life? Absolutely. I was an NBA player for 10 minutes bro.”
The ability to be able to shoot around on the court before a Finals game is a feeling reserved only for the players that make it to the highest level in the NBA, so it is pretty amazing that a normal person like Daws got to experience that.
A lifetime ban still feels a bit harsh for what was mostly a harmless stunt, but a security breach like this has to be addressed sternly to not encourage other, less harmless people from doing the same. In any case, that video is sure to net quite a large audience for Daws, so he might come out of this better than before even.
