Kyrie Irving Seemingly Responds To Nets GM Sean Mark’s Comments With Cryptic Image Of Mr. Miyagi From ‘The Karate Kid’: “A Picture Worth A Few Words.”

2 Min Read

Kyrie Irving has never been a player who has shied away from responding to speculation about him. If anything, Irving actually likes to throw fuel on the fire and add to said speculation.

Yesterday, Brooklyn Nets GM Sean Marks seemingly sent a message to Kyrie Irving, as he said that he wants players who will be available and completely dedicated to the franchise heading into the new season.

Kyrie Irving may have cryptically reacted to those comments on social media.

Shortly after Sean Marks’ comments started making the rounds on social media, Irving shared a picture of Pat Morita, the legendary actor who played the iconic role of Mr. Miyagi in ‘The Karate Kid’ movie franchise. Irving then had an interesting caption; a picture worth a few words.

The GIF that Irving posted was from the first installment of ‘The Karate Kid’. It serves as the final shot of the movie, as Mr. Miyagi looks on at his star pupil, Daniel LaRusso celebrating his unlikely win in the All-Valley Karate Tournament. Perhaps Irving may be hinting at a victory of his own in the coming future.

It is extremely difficult to decipher what Irving may have meant by this image, but it appears as though he was sending a message. What that message is remains to be seen. For those wondering whether Irving could be signaling a potential exit from Brooklyn, that would be unlikely.

Irving has already committed to the idea of re-signing with the Brooklyn Nets, stating that he will continue to play alongside Kevin Durant.

The duo will be hungry to win an NBA championship, especially after their humiliating playoff exit this year. A motivated Kyrie Irving could spell doom for the rest of the league, as on his day, Irving is nearly unstoppable.
