As one of the best point guards in the game, Kyrie Irving is expected to draw interest from multiple teams this summer as an unrestricted free agent. But choosing his next basketball team isn’t the only decision Irving will have to make in the coming months.

After being dropped by Nike over anti-semitism, Irving is currently a free agent in the sneaker world as well and word on his next move in that category is expected to drop very soon. According to Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson, several brands have already gauged interest in a partnership with Irving, including Adidas and Puma.

Irving’s name carries a lot of weight in the NBA community. Besides being a polarizing player on the court, Irving is always finding ways to be in the news for one reason or another.

With his split from Nike now complete, Irving is free to choose his own path and you can bet he will go somewhere where he feels empowered to be himself and express his beliefs no matter how controversial they are.

Kyrie Irving Tells The Fans To Chill Amid Major Speculation

Speaking in a recent Instagram Live video, Uncle Drew spoke about some of his future plans and stressed that he still hasn’t made a final decision on where he will play.

“Stop mentioning me on Twitter,” said Irving. “All y’all fan bases, stop mentioning me, please! It is still the Conference Finals…Can you please leave me the f**k out of this… Can I just be with my family in peace? Y’all got people at my dinner table discussing what my free agency plans are.”

Of course, he also elaborated on his next shoe deal and confirmed that we will see an update on that venture sometime soon.

“I’m really excited,” the 31-year-old said, via TMZ. “I will be signing my new shoe deal very, very soon. I’m ’bout to blow this stuff out the water. I’m so excited about it.”

No matter where Kyrie signs, he will continue to be among the most polarizing figures in sports for a variety of reasons. Let’s just hope he can avoid any more scandals, or it may cost him his career.
