Lakers Give Mid-Game Birthday Message To LeBron James

2 Min Read

Even in an empty arena, the Los Angeles Lakers made sure to congratulate LeBron James on his upcoming 36th birthday. The message displayed on the jumbotron in Staples Center, midway through their match against the Blazers (their last match game before a 4-game road trip).

It was an awesome gesture by the Lakeshow, but also a reminder of what LeBron is currently doing.

Even in his mid-30s, he remains one of the best players in the game, with averages of 26.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 9.3 assists on 50% shooting since arriving in LA back in 2018. He is also coming off his fourth NBA Championship.

His current performance is truly baffling and a testament to just how much James takes care of his body.

The question is, how long will he be able to keep it up? At age 36, in his 18th season, it’s hard to say that he’ll be at a superstar level for much longer. Father Time is undefeated, after all.

But, for now, all we can do is continue to watch and witness what James has left to show us. And something says he’ll be a cheat code for at least a few more years to come.
