After a thrilling first-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Houston Rockets have advanced to the second round of the playoffs and now the challenge will be bigger. They’ll be facing none other than the Los Angeles Lakers, the biggest favorites to take the title this year. Russell Westbrook and James Harden demonstrated that they can do meaningful things for his team even when the ball is not in their hands.

However, that must change for this series, since this Lakers will take advantage of all the opportunities the Rockets give them. The Lakers, on the other side, are aware that this task will be hard since they’ll go against two of the best players in the league, James Harden and Russell Westbrook. LeBron James addressed this future matchup, explaining the Rockets will be huge competitors, calling them a ‘two-headed monster’ thanks to Russ and Harden.

“We come off playing two-headed monster in CJ and Dame. We will be going at another two-headed monster at the 1 and 2. Russ’ speed and athleticism is up there with some of the best in the league if not the best. He puts so much pressure on your defense,” LeBron said.

“And then you have James whose ability to knock down the three ball at a high level and also be able to pass the ball as well. James is guy who can go out there and get 60 if he’s going. We gotta do a really good job of keeping our hands out of the cookie jar. Because that’s what it comes down to play with James. His ability to make his free-throws is what makes him really dynamic. They have a really good team. They’re very well balanced. But we know it starts with a two-headed monster in those two guys.”
