NBA Rumors: LeBron James In “Outstanding” Shape Ahead Of NBA Restart

2 Min Read

To the joy of basketball fans everywhere, the NBA’s plan to continue the 2019-20 season seems to be going according to plan. Despite a few incidents in which players broke “bubble” rules, all signs point to the completion of the season at hand.

Unfortunately, after a hiatus that spanned over months, there are concerns that a lot of players won’t be in the best condition to help their team accomplish their goals this summer — especially older players.

LeBron James, at 35-years-old, seems most at risk for the negative effects of a long break but, according to his head coach Frank Vogel, he’s actually in incredible shape.

“Outstanding,” Vogel said of how LeBron has looked during practices. “It’s really remarkable how well he’s been able to stay in shape, stay ready, to be sharp. It’s as if there wasn’t a layoff at all, and he’s playing at a really high level.”

The status of LeBron’s body shouldn’t be a huge surprise to anyone who knows his history. The reason why LeBron ha been able to stay dominant for so long is the sheer and incredible amount of time and money he spends to take care of his body.

Even during the break (and in quarantine) Bron has, no doubt, been working on his game and keeping his body in top condition.

So what does this mean for the Lakers? LeBron will be picking up right where he left off. And as he leads his team through the rest of this season, he will leave little doubt as to the state of his body and game.

Their hope is that it translates into a title.
