LeBron James is the most recognizable face in all of basketball for the best part of the last 2 decades. The King was originally the ‘Chosen One,’ dubbed so after his unbelievable high school performances at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Perhaps no other superstar has matched the hype LeBron had coming out of school, and the amazing aspect of it is that he lived up to it. It would even be fair to say that James surpassed those lofty expectations.
However, the end of his career is now much closer than the beginning. LeBron is 37, entering his 20th season in the NBA, and has spent more days as an active NBA player than as a normal person in his life. His goals have changed somewhat, and while he is still chasing the title of GOAT, there are other things James is looking forward to. The most notable of these is that he wishes to play alongside his sons Bronny and Bryce in the league.
The expectations from Bronny and Bryce are different than they were for LeBron but equally big in their unique ways. Both are currently playing basketball, and James has revealed that he already has an eye on who might draft them. But while their careers will surely pan out different from their dad’s, they’re similar in one way, they both got iconic Sports Illustrated covers. And LeBron has reacted to their ‘Chosen Sons’ one.

Bronny and Bryce are in no rush to get into the league at the moment, Bryce is a fair few years away from it. However, both train with one of the greatest to ever do it and have the resources to properly hone their craft, meaning that there is a good chance of them making it to the league.
And for James, who has achieved so much in his illustrious career, it would be a unique accolade to have played alongside both his sons. Whether that is a possibility or not remains to be seen, a lot depends on how good Bronny and Bryce eventually become. But many NBA teams will be licking their lips at the prospect of having 3 members of the James Gang suiting up for them in what would be an iconic moment in the league’s history.
