When it comes to being an all-around threat, there are not many that come close to the level of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. LeBron has been in the league for almost two decades and he is yet to slow down.
Sure, he might not be the freak of nature that he once was, but he still gets the job done when needed. Being in the NBA for so long, James has created and broken a lot of records.
Speaking of records, the 37-year-old is closing in towards another unseen record. Most of us are already aware of James’ skills of not only scoring but grabbing rebounds and dishing out assists as well.
The record in question is that LeBron is on the verge of becoming the only player in NBA history to record 10K points, 10K rebounds, and 10K assists in his career. Currently, James has already completed the accomplishment of 10K points and 10K rebounds.
But as of now, LBJ is still 23 assists away from completing 10K assists as well. Considering the way that he is playing this season, it will not be a surprise if he achieves this feat in the next few games or so.
Although it will be great to see him reach this unique record, James has something else that needs his attention first.
Yes, it is the underwhelming season that the Los Angeles Lakers are having. They are currently ninth in the West and are on a 4-game losing streak. So even if LeBron achieves the above-mentioned record, it will bring no joy to him if the Lakers fail to make it to the postseason.
Hopefully, LeBron and co. can still find a way to turn their season around in the little time that they have left before the season is over.
