LeBron James is in the Finals for the 10th time in his career and, no, he’s not thinking about how good or bad his teammates around him might be.
After 16 years in the NBA, James has proven time and time again that he is capable of working with all different kinds of players, personalities, and talents. He has failures and successes with all different kinds of rosters.
This year, in Los Angeles, it may be one of his best teams yet.
Still, if you ask him how he feels about it, he’ll tell you that’s not on his mind at all.
“I’ve never had a problem with any team I’ve gone to the Finals with. I’ve always been confident we have the ability to win. If you go into the Finals saying you’re undermanned or you don’t have enough, then who are you? The game is won between the four lines, not won on paper. And at the end of the day, when I’ve lost in the finals, the better team won. Cause they played well, were more prepared. When I’ve won, the same thing. I’m not here to talk about the talent that I have.”

Obviously, people have their own feelings about the subject, but you gotta respect LeBron for not trying to blame any of his losses on a subpar roster.
This season, he hopes to add another Finals win to his books, and you can expect him to take this Heta team very seriously. Because, sometimes, it’s not always about who’s better on paper.
