LeBron James Posts A Strong Message After The Tragic Death Of Ahmaud Arbery

2 Min Read

LeBron James has sent a message after the video of the murder of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery surfaced online in recent hours. Arbery was chased down and shot to death by two white men while unarmed and out for a jog.

All of that happened in February, and not a single arrest was made. The perpetrators, father and son Gregory and Travis McMichael’s, were not arrested and alleged self-defense. This created a big stir in the US and everybody has sent a message to the people in charge of justice and those responsible for this crime to be unpunished.

Bron also sent a message, describing the struggles and fears of black people in America whenever they go out, as they’re ‘hunted’ every time they leave their house. James took to Twitter to send a message to Arbery’s family while asking for justice for the young man.

“We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes! Can’t even go for a damn jog man! Like WTF man are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!? No man fr ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I’m sorry Ahmaud(Rest In Paradise) and my prayers and blessings sent to the heavens above to your family,” James wrote on Twitter.

This is a big tragedy in a country that doesn’t seem to stop having racism among its population. This is a very sensitive topic that needs to be addressed the best way, but it doesn’t look like the people in charge of that are making their best effort.
