LeBron James Says He’s Sorry About Dunking On Kevin Love: “I Hope I’m Still Invited To The Wedding… I Didn’t Mean It. K. Love I Love You… I Wish I Could Take Those 2 Points Back.”

LeBron James had another impressive performance on Monday night, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The King dropped 38 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out 12 assists to lead the Lakers to a 131-120 win over James’ first team in the league.

During the match, LeBron made an incredible play, putting his former teammate and close friend Kevin Love on a poster. It was a vicious dunk by the King, who had no mercy with the veteran big man. Even though Love got his revenge for that play, it’ll be hard to forget how incredible that dunk was and how bad he looked in the process.

Following the game, LeBron showed his remorse with that play, saying he’d like to remove that play and those two points from his personal account. He’s very good friends with Love and dunking on him was painful for the 4x NBA champion.

“To be completely honest, I hate it had to be him… I hope I’m still invited to the wedding… K Love, I love you. I wish I could take those two points back. We’d still win the game by 9,” James stated in his post-game interview.

The Lakers bounced back after a terrible loss against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night. They return home after a 4-game road trip, going 2-2. They host the Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow at Crypto.com Arena, hoping to win two consecutive games and start something good in the last 10 games of the season.

Bron is playing at a high level and Russell Westbrook has shown up in the past couple of games. If these two play great consistently, the Purple and Gold could land in the play-in tournament with great pace and be ready to defeat whoever challenges them for a spot in the 2022 NBA postseason.
