‘LeBron James Would Love To Play With Bronny James… I Don’t Know If His Body Will Hold Up For Another Three Years’, Says Danny Green

LeBron James is still thriving in the NBA at the age of 35, playing in his 17th season in the league. The King is at the top of the world once again after winning his 4th NBA championship during his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down right now and he’s ready to continue his reign in the association, even planning to play with his heir in the NBA.

Danny Green recently revealed LeBron’s real thoughts about the possibility of playing with his son Bronny James in the NBA. According to Green, LeBron would love to do so but his body needs to accompany him when that times come. Green explained that perhaps Bron could even play until his 40s to share the court with his son, but it’s still a long shot according to his sharpshooter teammate.

“I think he would love to,” Green said, via Adam Zagoria of Forbes. “I don’t know if his body will hold up for another three years. I don’t think he wants to play in the NBA and not be able to play at the level that he’s playing at right now. And I think three years from now it will be tough. The way he‘s going, I would assume most people are a shell of themselves 20 years later.

“But I’m sure he would love to play with Bronny.”

Bronny is expected to be part of the 2023 NBA draft class. He’s already one of the best 25 prospects for that year when LeBron will be 38. If he keeps playing at least at half the level he’s playing right now, he will have more than one suitor for his services. This is a dream for the King, who has done and won everything during his career. Getting to play with his son would be the cherry on top of a great career.
