Malcolm Brogdon currently plays for the Indiana Pacers, and he is a fairly good point guard who is a capable scorer and facilitator. Brogdon averaged 21.2 PPG, 5.3 RPG, and 5.9 APG this season, which is quite impressive. He was the ROY during the 2016-17 season, and there’s no doubt that he flashed some of his offensive potential even in his rookie season.

Being an elite shooter is what Malcolm Brogdon is most known for, but he is actually quite athletic when going to the rim. In fact, Hilltop Hoops has recently shared a video of Malcolm Brogdon dunking on Kyrie Irving and LeBron James within the span of one game during his rookie season.

There is no doubt that for a rookie, it was a pretty bold move to even attempt to dunk on two All-Stars who has just won the NBA championship the year prior. Brogdon may not be known as a dunker, but we can definitely acknowledge that these dunks were pretty good. Anyone who is able to get a dunk in on LeBron James himself deserves some praise. Malcolm Brogdon himself responded to the video, and stated that he misses those “young legs”.

There’s no doubt that Malcolm Brogdon did not lack any confidence, and that confidence is part of what helped him become a great offensive player with the Indiana Pacers. He is in his prime, and we’re sure to see some more great seasons from him.

The Indiana Pacers did not make the playoffs last season after losing to the Washington Wizards. However, the Pacers will try to make the playoffs once again this season, and they have managed to be a playoff team for five years straight prior to the 2020-21 season. Hopefully, we see Brogdon shine, and perhaps we’ll see him throw down some more impressive dunks next season.
