Michael Jordan, LeBron James, And Magic Johnson Are The Only Players With 3 NBA Championships, 3 Finals MVPs, And 3 Regular Seasons MVPs

Being successful in the NBA as a player is not easy. The NBA is far and away the best basketball league in the entire world. And to be declared one of the best in the league is a true statement of how great a player can be. There are several ways to find success as a player, whether it be through winning championships and Finals MVP trophies, or through regular-season accolades like the MVP.

Only a few players in the NBA can say they have won an MVP trophy and an NBA championship. To do either is a major accomplishment. But to be able to boast both is grounds for being considered an all-time great. And if a player is able to do so multiple times, they are certified legends.

As things stand, only three players in NBA history have been able to win an MVP trophy, an NBA championship, and a Finals MVP trophy 3 times. And the names on the list are not at all surprising, given how big of an impact they have had on the NBA.

Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Magic Johnson are the only three players who can boast that they have done so, establishing them among the all-time greats in the league. Jordan has 5 MVPs, 6 championships, and 6 Finals MVPs. Whereas LeBron has 4 in each category, and Magic Johnson has 5 championships, 3 Finals MVPs, and 3 MVP titles.

The only players in the league who could conceivably make this happen currently are Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Durant would need 1 more championship and Finals MVP title, along with 2 MVP trophies to join the elite trio. Whereas Giannis just needs 1 MVP trophy and 2 rings and Finals MVP titles to do so. Given how young Giannis is, he may be the only player who could realistically join them.
