- Devin Booker breaks his offseason silence during offseason event
- Jordan links with Booker amid expensive summer vacation
- MJ is one of Booker’s childhood heroes
Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan is having a pretty eventful summer. After finalizing his sale of the Hornets, and chilling with his 44-year wife Yvette Prieto on the island of Sardinia, he was seen partying with Devin Booker in what appears to be a large crowd.
The photo, which features Mike grabbing Book’s shoulder with a smile, has gone viral on social media and sparked conversations about what the two basketball stars might have been talking about.

MJ doesn’t put too much stock in public appearances, but he’s always happy to hang with some of the game’s elite players. In the case of Devin Booker, he shares many similarities with MJ, and it makes sense why the two would connect so easily.
This offseason, things have been pretty wild for Booker and the Suns, who have made a number of changes to the roster. But after this year’s playoff performance, Booker looks ready to lead the charge, and, hopefully, some advice from Jordan will help him put it all together and lead his team to glory.
Is Devin Booker A Superstar?
While Book has yet to win a championship in his career, he’s got all the tools he needs to be a generational great. With great footwork, ridiculous shot-making, and a ruthless drive to win, Book reflects many of the best qualities of his idols (Kobe and MJ) and he looking to use that to elevate his game to another level.
“Straight to the shower, straight to the visitors’ locker room… and I thought it was going to be a two-, three-minute convo, and it ended up being 15, 20 minutes postgame,” said Booker reflecting on a meeting with Kobe Bryant. “One shoe said, ‘To the young one,’ and the next one was, ‘To Book, be legendary,'” Booker says, smiling at the memory. “He didn’t only just write ‘be legendary,’ he told me what it was going to take to get there. … He told me I have the footwork, I have intangibles to be legendary. It’s finding more and wanting more and going to get more.”
If Booker is able to get better than he was before, it could be all the Suns need to make a major splash in the West. For now, though, he still has to prove he has what it takes to go all the way and win a title.
