NBA Fan On Why James Harden Didn’t Travel With Rockets: ‘Strip Club One Last Time’

2 Min Read

The Houston Rockets are already in Orlando to start training camp for the NBA resumption next July 30. Mike D’Antoni and his pupils are one of those teams that can make some noise in the Western Conference if they all are on the same page or fail big time if they lose their focus.

Well, things started a little bit weird for the Rockets since their two best players, Russell Westbrook and James Harden didn’t travel with the rest of his teammates to Orlando. Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that both players would join the team later, but he didn’t detail why they were absent.

One fan made a guess and jokingly said the reason why Harden wasn’t going with the team was that he wanted to go to the strip club one last time.

Harden is famous for his ability to score, his beard, and his love for strip clubs. There is a story going around that says he once got his jersey retired at a strip club after spending $1 million in a single night, so that should tell how much he likes those places.

As for Westbrook, nobody really tried to guess what happened to him. Maybe Harden asked him to stay, too, so he didn’t look that suspicious, but that didn’t work.

The Rockets will try to compete with the top 4 of the Western Conference and beat the biggest rivals of the West on their way to the Finals. It won’t be an easy path, especially considering the level of their rivals and the fact that they are playing small-ball. That is a bet for Houston and we’re yet to see if it will pay off for them.
