Stephen Curry has arguably been the best player in the NBA Finals. Showing his quality and taking his team to a 3-2 lead against the Celtics, Curry certainly has been phenomenal and has shown the NBA why he is one of the best players in the league.

Easily the best shooter the game has ever seen, Curry has shown his multi-level scoring skills and willingness to play tough defense. It seems like Steph’s incredible playoff performances have ignited the conversations about him being one of the best players to ever play the game.

Recently a post featuring Steph alongside LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird, and Shaquille O’Neal went viral all across social media.

With the post mentioning Curry, Bron, Kobe, Jordan, Bird, and Shaq as the best in the business, NBA fans certainly weren’t the most impressed with the list. Many fans especially were skeptical of the fact that Steph was included rather than Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

“Just get LeBron and Curry out. We don’t need those clowns up in there. Put Magic and Pippen.”

“Where’s Magic, Wilt, Russell, Big O…?”

“Curry does not belong with this group. He is not better than Magic nor will he ever be”

“No Curry and no Shaq!”

“Best Jordan worse Curry”

“Magic>curry”

“Magic instead of Curry because he is 2 soft plus he has no defense. Real talk.”

“Staring From the front Remove the first Two”

While Curry might not have had the biggest list of achievements on the list, there is no doubt that he deserves to be known as one of the best the game has ever seen.

Still in his prime and leading the Warriors, the 34-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down. Even his season averages of 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game suggest that Steph is at the top of his game.

With the Dubs only a game away from winning the title, the ‘Baby Faced Assassin’ looks set to win his 4th NBA title as well and might just win his 1st ever NBA Finals MVP trophy as well. Will an NBA title and a Finals MVP trophy change the narrative in Steph’s favor?
