Historically, the All-Star game was played between teams divided by conferences. Every year, the Eastern Conference would take on the Western Conference. But in recent years, the NBA has made some changes to its showpiece event. All-Stars are still selected from both conferences, but now the teams are divided differently.

In the last 5 All-Star games, the NBA has appointed two captains and had them choose from among the All-Stars in draft format. LeBron James has been a captain every year, and he holds a distinct record. Team LeBron has won in all 5 games they have played in at the All-Star Break, including wins against Team Giannis and Team Durant among others. Team LeBron has a perfect record going into Sunday’s showcase.

That seems to be the big question on the minds of a lot of people. Unlike past years, the teams haven’t been drafted already. They will be picked on the court this season, starting with the Reserves. So it’s hard to speculate on whether Team LeBron will win or not. But the one thing we know about LeBron James is that he picks well, he has proven that in every draft so far. And people have their ideas on this winning streak.

NBA Fans Had Some Interesting Reactions When Asked If LeBron James Will Assemble A Winning All-Star Team Again

LeBron James has been criticized in the past for creating superteams, but this is the one time his talents on that front come in handy. The King makes some great picks, and fans are certain he’ll do so again for the 2023 version of the matchup. Here’s a look at some of the discussion.

“He will need to draft ant if he wants to win.”

“LeGM invicto.”

“I feel like Giannis made the worst picks the last time they matched up as captains so I’m def taking that 6-0.”

“He’s gonna cook Giannis again, no doubt.”

“LeBron is the GOAT GM.”

“Can we go back to East vs West?”

“Pretty ironic that the only thing he’s undefeated in is assembling short-term super teams.”

“LeBron doesn’t lose at this.”

“This is why he’s going to be a way greater owner than fraud MJ.”

“LeBron James coming for No. 6.”

“He always drafts Luka so he always wins.”

LeBron James has taken this activity seriously in the past, and it’s led to some big wins for him. This seems to be another opportunity to add another accolade to his tally, not that it matters too much in the grand scheme of things. One way or another, Team LeBron will have as good a shot at winning it all as their opponents.
