It was yet another nightmare on the road for the Golden State Warriors as they lost 133-119 to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.

It is their 11th straight defeat away from home, and NBA fans reacted to the defending champions losing yet again.

“Can people stop saying that the Warriors will do something in the playoffs now please?” said a fan who wants the talk around the Warriors flipping the switch in the playoffs to stop.

“Warriors on the road. Warriors at home.” a fan hilariously compared the Warriors’ contrasting fortunes on the road and at home.

“And Dillon brooks outperformed Steph on better efficiency.” a fan stated that Dillon Brooks outperformed Stephen Curry and was more efficient as well.

“Curry really ain’t that guy. Wiggins should’ve been the FMVP.” a fan claimed Curry isn’t really that guy and stated that Andrew Wiggins, who remains out, should have won Finals MVP.

“Dillon Brooks is the best perimeter defender in the league… Carry the hell on.” a fan boldly claimed Brooks is the best perimeter defender in the league after his excellent showing on that end here.

The Grizzlies’ defense did a number on the Warriors’ stars here. Curry finished the night with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists while shooting just 5-15 from the field. Klay Thompson had 14 points on 6-17 shooting, and if it wasn’t for Jonathan Kuminga scoring 24 points on 8-16 shooting off the bench, this could have been a whole lot uglier. This loss dropped the Warriors to 36-36, and they are now 7-29 on the road while being 29-7 at home.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way for the Grizzlies, as he had 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks, while Desmond Bane had 26 points and 4 rebounds. Brooks, who was excellent on defense, had 18 points, as every starter for the Grizzlies scored in double digits as they improved to 43-27. There was a lot of trash talk going on in the game as well as you might imagine, and Brooks even got into Curry’s face in the first quarter.

Can The Warriors Win The Title This Season?

Considering all that the Warriors have achieved during this dynastic run and how they won it all last season, there has been a lot of hesitancy to count them out. They have proved their doubters wrong so many times over the years, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be able to do that this season.

When the Warriors were struggling on the road earlier in this campaign, the expectation was that they would eventually figure things out, but they just haven’t. Klay had backed the Warriors to come good on this road trip, but they have lost all three of their games so far. They face the Houston Rockets on the road next, and if they lose that game, then you’d probably have to say that the Warriors are done.
