Bronny James Has Officially Gotten His First Sports Illustrated Magazine Cover Before LeBron James

2 Min Read

LeBron James has been one of the most well-known athletes for almost his entire life. He has dazzled people in the game of basketball ever since he was in high school, and it is clear that media publications picked up on how good he was, even before he was in the NBA.

One of the prominent magazines to feature LeBron James was Sports Illustrated. LeBron James had his first Sports Illustrated cover at the age of 17 when he was still a high school junior.

LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, has often been compared to his father as a basketball player: he’s already receiving scholarship offers. While it is unfair to expect anyone to be as good as LeBron James at basketball, it seems as though there is one area where Bronny has his dad beat. Recently, Slam Studios made an Instagram post that showed that Bronny James has officially gotten his first Sports Illustrated cover before LeBron James, at the age of 16.

While obviously, the two are on the covers for different reasons, it is still pretty awesome that Bronny James has managed to get himself on a cover of Sports Illustrated. It looks as though Bronny James is on the cover due to his affiliation with FaZe Clan which is an esports organization, along with Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. Gaming has been a big part of the modern age, and it is great seeing athletes partake in esports.
