Paul George is undoubtedly one of the NBA’s best two-way players. With regular-season averages of 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists, it’s clear that he’s extremely talented at the game of basketball.

Unfortunately, he’s got a long list of playoff shortages that have caused many to question just how good PG really is. Is he really a superstar if he can’t perform when it matters most?

These playoffs have been another disappointing showing for George, who has scored under 15 points in back-to-back nights, going for 23% shooting on Wednesday and 18% shooting in today’s Game 3 win.

The criticisms have come down hard on PG, and it has not gone unnoticed by the TNT crew. In response to Paul’s “Playoff P” nickname, Charles Barkley was the latest to lay-in on the star’s postseason failures.

The Clippers technically did get the win tonight, but you get the point.

George routinely falls short in the playoffs and until he can prove he can be counted on, folks will remain critical of his performance.

And if his struggles continue throughout the rest of the postseason, it could have a devastating impact on the Clippers’ chances to win. For their sake, he better respond with a big night here soon.
