Charles Barkley is one of the funniest NBA personalities on the air today. The former MVP was a great player during the course of his NBA career but has also found great success in his career as an NBA analyst. And a big part of that success has been his sense of humor, as Barkley always comes up with hilarious comments and insights while he is on television.
Recently, during an appearance on Inside The NBA on TNT, Charles Barkley came up with a hilarious nickname for Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving. Barkley called him "half-man, half-a-season" a funny reference to the fact that Kyrie is currently a part-time player for the Nets because he is unvaccinated, and can only pay for the Nets in away games.
Barkley had a lot of funny moments during the show. He was able to convince LeBron James to take Fred VanVleet to see whether Kevin Durant would select James Harden with his final pick during the NBA All-Star draft, which Durant did not do, as fans reacted online to his decision.
On top of that, he joked about James Harden's health when LeBron James asked whether Harden would be fit to play during the All-Star game because of his recent injuries, noting that Harden's injury troubles were behind him now that he had gotten his wish and gotten trade from the Brooklyn Nets to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Humor aside, Barkley has been very critical of Kyrie Irving's decision, even noting that he doesn't want to talk about him anymore and that he hopes that the Brooklyn Nets lose because of his presence. Chuck has not pulled any punches when it comes to Kyrie's decision and has commented on it several times. Barkley is not a supporter of Irving's anti-vaccine stance, and he has made that very clear.
