Charles Barkley To Shaq O’Neal: ‘You Couldn’t Play In Today’s Game. They Shoot Threes, You Wouldn’t Even Be In The Game Today. Rudy Gobert Would Dominate You. Leave It Alone, Petty White!”

Charles Barkley had somethings to say to Shaquille O’Neal during a recent edition of TNT’s “Inside the NBA”. Barkley and O’Neal are always taunting each other but the 1993 NBA MVP apparently had enough of Shaq’s remarks and bad comments towards young players, especially Rudy Gobert.

O’Neal recently engaged in a back and forth with the French player after the latter signed a max $200 million deal with the Utah Jazz for five years. That escalated quickly and Shaq found himself in another internet battle with an NBA player. That seemed to have cooled off but Chuck still had something to say to the 4x NBA champion.

“We don’t call him Shaquille O’Neal. We call him Petty White around here… Just for the record, you couldn’t play in today’s game. They shoot threes, you wouldn’t even be in the game today. Rudy Gobert would dominate YOU. Leave it alone, Petty White!”

O’Neal told Donovan Mitchell right to his face that he doesn’t have what it takes to win after the Jazz earned their 7th consecutive victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, and he doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Players like LeBron James and Kevin Durant reacted to it, trying to stop a trend that isn’t helping the NBA at all.

The Big Diesel has been involved in some of these controversies lately and Chuck just wanted to remind him that if he was playing today, he would probably have a bad time. We’ll never know that but the only certain thing is that Shaq was one of the most dominant players ever.
