Damian Lillard Released A New Track With Some Powerful Words Against Racism

2 Min Read

Damian Lillard’s talents on the court are no mystery to anyone who pays attention. This season, he’s averaging 28.9 points, 7.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game on 45% shooting.

But yesterday, he made headlines not for anything he did with a basketball, but for what he was doing in the studio. He’s apparently been very busy and recently came out with a new track titled ‘Blacklist.’ Considering the occasion, it’s not hard to estimate what it might be about.

How these good cops won’t speak on the bad apples? How the President get on TV and be mad casual? Like “If you lootin’ we shooting” like it’s a game. Dude a clown and a trust fund baby, be numb to the pain.

Lillard is clearly very talented — and in more ways than one. In the basketball world, he’ll soon be gearing up for battle, as he tries to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a postseason berth.

Right now, however, he’s fighting a far more important battle. He’s speaking up for his people and fighting for racial equality, social justice, and police accountability. He’s making change because he has got his priorities straight… best not get that twisted.
