DeMar DeRozan On All-Star Snub: "You Just Gotta Laugh At The Bullshit."

After Jazz guard Mike Conley was announced as the replacement for Devin Booker in the 2021 All-Star game, Spurs star DeMar DeRozan expressed his immediate disappointment, citing that all he could do was "laugh" at the "bullsh*t" of not being selected.

DeRozan made the All-Star team for four straight seasons before his trade to the Spurs in 2018. Since his arrival, he has averaged a modest 21.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.

Unfortunately, san Antonio hasn't had much success in winning games. Over the past few years, they've been very inconsistent and mostly irrelevant amid the departure of Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard.

DeMar has done his best to keep the Spurs in the playoff picture, and this season, he has them 7th in the West, with an 18-14 record. Certainly, he deserves credit for what he has been able to do this campaign, and it's a shame he won't get the recognition he deserves,

With the Spurs on the edge of the playoff picture, and DeRozan being considered a tier "B" star, there isn't much attention being thrown his way right now.

Clearly, he feels like he was robbed of representing his team in the All-Star game this year. But, sometimes, that's just how it goes.
