Over the past few years, the Chicago Bulls have struggled to stay competitive in the Eastern Conference. Mismanagement by the front office often resulted in a roster that was heavily flawed and poorly put together.

But after years of “rebuilding”, the Bulls finally hit the jackpot with the signing of DeMar DeRozan, who has been an MVP candidate all season long.

His recent performance (alongside Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, and Nikola Vucevic) has helped elevate Chicago to a place of dominance, as they now hold the best record in their Conference.

In a chat with the media, DeRozan revealed his team’s title aspirations, making sure to let the world know that he believes the Bulls can win it all.

“As a competitor, you always wanna beat anybody in anything that they say you can’t do,” DeRozan said. “I definitely seen it, my teammates seen it — and we took it personally. We let our games speak for ourselves. I was spoking, we gotta go out on the court and go out compete.”

“We respect all of top teams in the conference — everything — but we gotta go out there and compete every single night. We ain’t gonna cut ourselves short, we feel like we can play with anybody and the goal is to compete for a championship.”

With great talent, amazing chemistry, and strong culture, the Bulls seemingly have everything they need for a long playoff run. But can they really compete against teams like the Bucks, Nets, and Heat?

With much of the roster having a limited history of playoff success, they certainly have their work cut out for them.

But so long as they keep playing good basketball, and believe in themselves as a team, they’ll have a shot against anyone when it really matters.

Either way, it will be fun to see what this Bulls team is able to do throughout the rest of this season.
