It appears that a Rodman is joining a dynastic sports team. Dennis Rodman’s daughter, professional soccer player Trinity Rodman has been called up by the United States Women’s National Team to take part in their upcoming fixture. This is the first call-up for Trinity, who has been playing professional soccer for the last few years.

Much like her father, Trinity has found success as an athlete, but in soccer rather than basketball. Of course, Dennis Rodman is considered one of the greatest players in NBA history, winning five NBA championships across his career. Rodman was one of the best defensive players in the league during his career and was a pivotal part of two legendary NBA teams.

Rodman initially found success with the bad boy Detroit Pistons, where he was an important part of the team that won the NBA championship twice in 1989 and 1990. After that, he suffered a dip in form, but found his way back to another dynasty, joining the Chicago Bulls in 1995.

With the Bulls, Rodman formed a big three with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. He helped the team win three consecutive NBA championships between 1996 and 1998. Rodman was the defensive enforcer for the Bulls and did the dirty work for them while Jordan and Pippen carried the team on the offensive end.

Recently, Rodman went to his daughter Trinity’s game to support her. She later reacted to him being there, noting how grateful she was to him for coming to support her, despite their strenuous relationship over the years. Dennis Rodman’s appearance was a way to make amends with his family.

During his hall of fame speech, Dennis Rodman spoke about how he wished that he was a better father and husband during his career. The gesture went a long way in mending his relationship with his daughter. And now, Rodman must be brimming with pride over his daughter’s call up to the USWNT.
