Draymond Green Flames Celtics Analyst Who Wore Shirt Calling Him A "Jerk Face": "Hold Dat L Sucka"

Draymond Green

The Golden State Warriors may be basking in the glory of being the 2022 NBA champions, but they took some time out to call out their doubters and haters who didn't think this run was possible. Steph Curry perhaps surprisingly took a shot at some television analysts in his post-game presser, but there is no surprise that Draymond Green has been very vocal in calling folks out.

Green was the main antagonist for Boston Celtics fans during the NBA Finals after his altercation with Jaylen Brown in Game 2 and the antics that followed it. He got quite the brutal reception in Game 3 in Boston and his teammates, as well as his fiancee, were quite upset by it. As the fallout continued post Game 3, Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports and a Celtics fan, posted a picture of him wearing a shirt that called Green a "Jerk Face" in response to the Dubs having issues with the language being used in the chants in TD Garden. Draymond, of course, has been keeping receipts and fired back at Portnoy after the Finals.

Winning the title gives Green the last laugh in all these situations and there really is nothing you can say in return here. Portnoy didn't have much of a response either as the Warriors celebrated their return to the top of the mountain. Not many would have seen them here before the season began and it has perhaps been their most impressive title run of the four.

Draymond played a big role in it despite some games where he looked pretty bad on the court. Games 1 & 3 in these Finals were arguably the lowest points for Green but he bounced back from those disappointments and had arguably his best game of these playoffs in the title-clinching Game 6, as he finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists while also playing some great defense. After the game, Draymond gave his respect to the Celtics fans in the arena, but he is unlikely to have much more positives to say about anything related to the Celtics from here on out.
