Apart from playing basketball for the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green has been pretty vocal off the court. He is one of the faces of new media and even has his own podcast where he shares his thoughts on several things.

Obviously, Draymond Green has been roasted by players and fans for starting a podcast while still being an active player in the league. In fact, his own teammate Stephen Curry once roasted Green in a joking manner.

On top of that, there were reports suggesting that the Boston Celtics coaches used Green’s podcast to learn about the Warriors’ game plan during the NBA Finals. Keeping these things in mind, Green has been off the radar in terms of releasing new episodes of his podcast for the last few months.

Draymond Green’s Announcement About His Return To Podcasting Didn’t Go As Planned

After not releasing any new episodes of his podcast, many thought that the Golden State Warriors star had given up on it. However, Green cleared all rumors about his future podcasting plans with a tweet.

Green tried to make this announcement in the iconic Michael Jordan style. But it certainly didn’t go as planned for the 32-year-old. NBA fans didn’t like Green’s attempt to copy Michael Jordan and decided to heavily roast him.

Most fans trolled Green for trying to copy Jordan. But there were a few fans who were actually interested in Green’s announcement. Moreover, a few fans wanted Green to invite his teammate Jordan Poole to the new episode of the podcast. The reason is obvious, they want to see Green and Poole clear things up after their heated altercation during the offseason.

At the end of the day, whether you like it or not, Green is coming back with his podcast. The least we can expect is that he continues to deliver quality content with the help of his podcast.
