It didn’t take long for James Harden to brush off a horrible loss against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night. In Ben Simmons’ return to Wells Fargo Center and Harden’s first game against his former team, the Nets had no mercy against the Sixers, dismantling them from the very beginning, scoring 40 points in the 1st quarter.

This trend didn’t change and the Nets dominated the entire game, securing a 129-100 win over the Sixers, who looked nothing like the team that dominated during the first 5 games of the Harden-Embiid duo.

Many fans were unhappy with this result, and some even called out Harden for his bad performance. However, that wasn’t a big deal for the player, who had two guests courtside for this game. Rappers Lil Baby and Travis Scott were in attendance for the game, seeing their friend have an awful night.

Nevertheless, that didn’t change the trio’s plans. They left the arena and went to a party, as another friend celebrated their birthday. A video surfaced showing Harden smiling while a birthday cake found its way to the birthday person.

Baby and Travis were in great spirits, just like the former NBA MVP, showing they weren’t worried about the game result.

The Sixers underperformed against a big rival. They could face the Brooklyn Nets in the postseason and seeing how easy Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving had it against them, that only means a problem for Philly.

Doc Rivers and co. need to make some adjustments if they don’t want to see this type of performance again. Many people won’t like seeing Harden partying and happy after such an awful defeat. It’s still early to call him out for this, but seeing how hard Philly fans are, this isn’t a good look.
