Jayson Tatum Has More Playoff Wins Than The Philadelphia 76ers In The Last 15 Years: “This Is Actually Crazy.”

Jayson Tatum Has More Playoff Wins Than The Philadelphia 76ers In The Last 15 Years: “This Is Actually Crazy.”

When Jayson Tatum was drafted by the Boston Celtics with the 3rd overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Celtics were entering a new era and they expected Tatum to be one of the anchors for this new team.

Well, Tatum has certainly fulfilled most expectations of the fans and has established himself as one of the best players in his position. Moreover, this season he has helped the Celtics reach the Eastern Conference Finals in the playoffs as well.

If Tatum and co. can win one more game, then they will book their tickets to the 2022 NBA Finals as they hold a 3-2 lead over the top-seeded Miami Heat.

Speaking of Tatum's talents, even in his young career, he has already got a lot of playoff experience under his belt. He is yet to miss the playoffs in his career and will hope to win the title soon.

But did you know that Tatum has 38 playoff wins to his name? It might sound like a normal fact, but when you put it in perspective to the Philadelphia 76ers, yes, the whole franchise has just 37 wins to their name over the last 15 years.

Popular Instagram page, "Basketball Forever" brought this to everyone's attention, and it's simply a tough fact to swallow. Sure, the 76ers were in a rebuilding phase, but 15 years is a long time and it proves the struggles that they have been facing throughout the years in the postseason.

Upon seeing this stat, many NBA fans reacted to the IG post. While some were simply shocked at seeing this, others trolled the 76ers. Anyway, here are the best comments that you should see:

dukerss13: "Crazy considering he’s only 19!!!"

willturnquist: "This makes me realize I’ve underrated Tatum! That’s crazy, I would’ve guessed that Embiid has more."

servid19: "You really got an agenda against philly huh."

jordxnhill: "Maybe because we were tanking until about 2018 but ok then."

superkameguru11: "Maybe because we were tanking until about 2018 but ok then."

kinq_david_ii: "I was just saying this is his second time being a game away from The Finals."

denycruz: "Okay use Iggy’s pic who has been to the finals 6 years in a row… and the 7th finals by tomorrow."

luda_da_boss: "You know there’s a bunch of teams this could’ve been used for."

mattmcart: "Haha sad stat for the Sixers. Gonna have to draw Tatum soon 🔥✏️."

yoozack: "Nah this is actually crazy 😂."

primetimee.cj: "To Be Fair, Philly Hasn’t Had Been Very Good Since Forever."

tyson.getts: "He also has the same amount of rings as philly 😢."

flyguynyckz: "Y’all should look up how much playoff points he has already , He’s passed some potential AND current Hall of Famers."

asvpp_j: "🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ' trust the process ' LMAOOOOO."

gabe_vs_everybody: "Well they never get hurt as much and have better coaching and Gm at the time & picks dnt get weird with fultz ben and then Noel missing a yr and then embiid missing 2 yrs and ben missing a yr and not shooting and drafting fultz thinking he gonna be the same and he dnt shoot either , so Um yea , that’s why lol."

Despite the fact that the 76ers were going through a rebuild, this stat was simply an eye-opener. Joel Embiid will certainly hope to change this stat very soon.

Currently, the entire burden of the franchise is on his shoulders. If he can manage to win a ring with the team in the coming seasons, he will get to be remembered as one of the best players to ever play for the 76ers.
